Like a majority of people, we love to take photos of just about any moment or experience we feel is worth holding onto for keepsake. Unfortunately, the high end, cream of the crop, DSLR CamerasHow to get free photos for your Blog and Social Media" data-p3-pin-link="http://www.trendmebeauty.ca/how-to-get-free-photos-for-your-blog/" id="amznPsBmPixel_6260851" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important; height: 0px !important; width: 0px !important;" src="https://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?source=bk&t=trenbeau-20&bm-id=default&l=ktl&linkId=f84ebd211ba63b1eef06b91d312eda6a&_cb=1488411910266" alt="" width="0" height="0" border="0" /> can be intimidating and out of our budget. When I first started blogging, I already had the Samsung NX2000 Digital CameraHow to get free photos for your Blog and Social Media" data-p3-pin-link="http://www.trendmebeauty.ca/how-to-get-free-photos-for-your-blog/" id="amznPsBmPixel_8562067" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important; height: 0px !important; width: 0px !important;" src="https://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?source=bk&t=trenbeau-20&bm-id=default&l=ktl&linkId=7488d2a5bd5ce57e5c3eafcc651660c9&_cb=1488410923767" alt="" width="0" height="0" border="0" /> that I purchased several years ago. It’s a digital camera that’s compact, looks pretty, has different shooting modes, plus built-in wifi settings that allow you to send pictures straight to your wifi device. Now, I’ve upgraded some of my equipment and have the Canon T6i DSLR CameraHow to get free photos for your Blog and Social Media" data-p3-pin-link="http://www.trendmebeauty.ca/how-to-get-free-photos-for-your-blog/" id="amznPsBmPixel_4777816" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important; padding: 0px !important; height: 0px !important; width: 0px !important;" src="https://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?source=bk&t=trenbeau-20&bm-id=default&l=ktl&linkId=3df7026a62f7c8ce3b6ac05b013f3178&_cb=1488411882725" alt="" width="0" height="0" border="0" />. I still have the Samsung camera for backup use, because it’s smaller and easier to take everywhere.

Understandably, not everyone can afford either one of these cameras, the Canon could be priced around $800-$1000, and digital cameras are at least $200+.  If you’re just starting up, there’s no reason to drop that kinda dough right now. Instead, your main focus is working on creating great content and adding great photos, free photos, that fits your post well. Using the tips below will help give your blog or social media a boost, which in turn will help you monetize your content and be able to afford the best and latest equipment available. So don’t just settle for mediocre pics on your posts, as much as possible, use the resources below.

After researching the good ole world wide web, I’ve gathered up some great sites where you can get great quality photos for free. There are so many stock photos that can be used and there are also lots of tips on setting up a flatlay shot to make your images look more captivating. Honestly, knowing what I know now, I’ll be updating old content with new photos from these sites.

Here is a list of websites I’ve found. Most of them allow you to search for photos that are tailored to your niche or you can also search by keywords. I’ve separated them into 2 categories – whether or not attribution is required. Attribution means giving credit to the respected owner or creator of that image – by way of linking to the original source, mentioning the name of the site or owner of the photo. There may also be other requirements or restrictions that are laid out on the site’s licensing terms or can vary by the photo.
