Silk’n Flash & Go Express Laser Hair Removal Review

Read on to learn about my results with the Silk’n Flash & Go Express Laser Hair Removal tool.

The best time to have laser hair removal treatments is during the winter months.

1. You’ll have more time between sessions
2. You won’t need to worry about sun exposure
3. You’ll be hair free by summer.

How to Use

Before starting your treatment, make sure to SHAVE and NOT WAX because the machine needs to be able to see and work on the follicle. Shaving is important so that it’s not just burning the hair off.

The Silk’n Flash & Go Express can be used by both men and women. Although, it’s not recommended for naturally dark or tanned skins, as the machine can’t differentiate between hair or pigmentation and could be drawn to it, causing adverse reactions. Best to do a test run and proceed with caution. Results will vary with everyone depending on hair and skin type.

It’s best if have a calendar ready and input your sessions to stay consistent. You can spread them out by 2-3 weeks and up the level each time if you can handle it.

Personal Results

After just 2 sessions of biweekly treatments, I can honestly say that there’s a significant reduction of hair in the treated areas. This machine really works!

Usually, after shaving my legs, it would grow back, with a vengeance, in a couple of days. I’ve used this all over my body and face and it wasn’t painful. I do have a higher pain tolerance so start low if needed. In areas where the skin was thicker, I was able to go up to 4 (5 is the highest). In other sensitive, thinner skin areas like the bikini and underarms, I was at level 2. The machine has different intensity levels so you can adjust to your comfort. My skin tone is medium and has had no reactions or irritation to the treatments.

I’m so happy with the results so far and can’t wait to be hair free by summer! The best and most important part, I don’t need to spend tons of money on laser removal treatments. For a fraction of the cost of getting it done elsewhere, this is a very good investment! No need to schedule and wait, just do it at home for as many sessions as you want.

You can grab your own at any London Drugs Beauty store or online through Silkn.ca. What are your thoughts on this? Do you get laser treatments done or own this too? I’ll try and keep you guys updated with more pics after sessions. Til next time, have a lovely day!

From what I see it works, but not perfectly. I admit that I believed it gave clearer results!

I definitely need something like this! I was hoping that years of waxing would have killed the hair by now. Maybe a couple of goes with this and it will finally die off!

This seems to have pretty good results but seem to miss certain spots. Even still, I think it is something I would probably try. Thanks for the suggestion!
